Polyester Press is the creative studio of author Diane Vallere, where every story shares a common thread of curiosity, character, and style. Combining the polish of professional publishing with the freedom of independent creativity, Polyester Press delivers distinctive fiction that proves imagination never wrinkles.

I'm Diane, and I started Polyester Press to have a professional home for my original cozy-adjacent mysteries and genre mash-ups, series continuations, and rights reverted from traditional publishing houses. My team at Polyester Press believes in content, quality, and promotion: first, a strong, character-driven story. Next: editing, proofing, cover design, and formatting. Third: promotion to help readers discover those stories. My books are set in Pennsylvania, Texas, California, and Outer Space. No matter what time, place, or universe, I'll always bring curiosity, character, and style to make your reality more entertaining. Pull on your kitten heels/slippers/Moon Boots/sneakers, grab a book, pour yourself a mug of coffee/glass of wine/tumbler of Tang and settle in for some fun. ABOUT DIANE:
National bestselling author Diane Vallere writes witty, character-driven mysteries that celebrate clever women solving problems—with humor, heart, and style. Her stories span eras from contemporary small towns to the glamorous midcentury past, always anchored by strong voices and sparkling intrigue. She edited the Agatha Award-winning essay collection Promophobia: Taking the Mystery out of Promoting Crime Fiction. Diane majored in art history at the College of William and Mary and worked in luxury retailing before trading fashion accessories for accessories to murder. She currently resides in Pennsylvania.
